Adultery, Results Of:
Deuteronomy 5:18: ‘You shall not commit adultery.
Leviticus 20:10-12: ‘If there is a man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, one who commits adultery with his friend’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. If there is a man who lies with his father’s wife, he has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death, their bloodguiltiness is upon them. If there is a man who lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have committed incest, their bloodguiltiness is upon them.
Proverbs 2:18: For her house sinks down to death
And her tracks lead to the dead;
Proverbs 29:3: A man who loves wisdom makes his father glad,
But he who keeps company with harlots wastes his wealth.
Proverbs 30:20 This is the way of an adulterous woman:
She eats and wipes her mouth,
And says, “I have done no wrong.”
2 Corinthians 12:21: I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity, immorality and sensuality which they have practiced.
