To edit email notifications, login to your account. Then, click the “Settings” icon (looks like a gear) At the top right corner of the page. Scroll down to the "Emails" option. Select the items for the emails you no longer wish to receive by unchecking the boxes that correspond to the emails you do NOT want to receive any longer.
When finished updating, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the blue “Save Changes” button (on the computer version only. If you are using a phone or tablet, we would need to know if you are using an Android or iOS device). You should now have fewer email notifications and you can find any friend requests at the top of the XAPiT page (looks like a head with a “+” sign next to it just to the left of the settings icon mentioned above). If not, refresh your internet browser and then see if the info is correct.
To remove friends on your profile, here’s how:
We can assure you that XAPiT is safe. On the sign in page, and on all other pages, you will see a padlock symbol at the beginning of the browser bar next to our website (see image below with the red circle around it). This padlock shows that our site is secure, and our security certificate is current.
Disabling or Limiting XAPiT Notifications
Disabling notifications – or customizing which notifications you receive and which you don’t - is quick and easy. Here’s what you need to know!
In your internet browser of choice, navigate to XAPiT.com and log into your account.
Once signed in, navigate to your Personal Page.
Click Settings to expand the list of options and click on the Notifications
Scroll through the list of settings and "uncheck" the boxes of any options that you wish to turn off notifications. Basically... if the box has a check mark, you WILL receive notifications for that option. If there is NO check mark in a box, you will NOT receive notifications for those options.
Click to Save Changes listed at the bottom of the page once you are finished going through this list of options.
Note that XAPiT’s notifications controls can be very specific and that going through every option may be somewhat time consuming.
If you have any questions or concerns about any of the notification, feel free to private message the XAPiT Support account, or email us directly at support@xapit.com
