Friends,

God is expanding the mission of Aslan’s Place! In this two-part announcement, I’ll share what led up to this point and what I think this all means for our future. Part one is provided below. Part two will go out on Friday.

Blessings,
Paul L. Cox

An expanded mission for Aslan’s Place

On July 28, 2009, in the midst of the economic meltdown, I had a vivid dream at the end of a night of almost no sleep.  I dreamed I was getting off one bus and getting on the second.  I was on my second bus and someone said that ‘I’m just beginning the second phase of my ministry.”  I had left a suitcase and computer on the first bus.  It seems I can now carry no baggage. I’m on my way to Santa Fe Springs – Santa Fe means ‘Holy Faith’. There was going to be a third bus I would transfer to before arriving at Santa Fe Springs, the spring of Holy Faith.

That morning I left to go to the Ontario Airport to fly to Las Vegas for a marketplace discernment meeting.  While in the car I was listening to the local news and the traffic report mentioned several incidents but only one city, Santa Fe Springs.  On that trip for the first time, I can remember I took no computer or baggage, only a book to read on the short flight.

On Monday, August 30, 2021 I believe Donna and I and Aslan’s Place finished the ride on the second bus and moved to the third bus.

An earlier dream on October 6, 2004, the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles that year, may give an indication of what is happening next for Aslan’s Place.

The dream began in the church I pastored in Montclair, CA.

I was then in a large warehouse like building similar to Costco.  The warehouse was huge. There were large boxes everywhere (like ship containers, but smaller, perhaps like airplane cargo bins.  I looked up and could see that the containers were stacked very high, at least 10 plus stories up.  There were so many that I could barely walk through the aisles.  I was very frustrated and said “how can I do a seminar with all these boxes.”  No one will be able to see me.  I then heard the word “provision”.

There was much activity and a stage area was cleared. There were people everywhere. A lot of youth.  I recognized Cal Chinen’s son Daniel. At that time Daniel was 18 years old and Cal Chinen was pastor Moanalua Gardens Missionary Church in Honolulu, Hawaii.
I had a sense of about 250 people were already in the warehouse but the numbers kept growing. The audience was growing so fast, it was out of control. The youth were especially active. There were so many that I had difficulty getting their attention. I looked behind me and another group was coming led by Daniel Chinen. I was doing the seminar Understanding and Implementing Generational Deliverance.

A former friend of mine was there. He was unhappy, not about being there, but because he seemed unhappy with life.  I talked with him and asked how he was.  He said his back hurt and so I prayed for his back.  I had a sense he was there for the seminar so he could learn.  He wanted to learn what I knew.  I believe he represents the evangelical church who will show interest in what I have learned.

For years Donna and I have been looking for that warehouse.

In the next email I will explain what I think this all means…
