God is expanding the mission of Aslan's Place

For twenty years Donna and I have been going to Hawaii on ministry trips. During that time, we have established a wonderful friendship with Rob and Barb Gross who pastor Mountain View Community Church in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii. Rob and I track very closely in our discernment and it has proven to be a growing experience for both of us.

Mountain View Community Church started a building fund in April, 2020 and the Lord suddenly started blessing the donations to the point where in March, Rob began looking for a building to house an Apostolic Training and Healing Center. A large 20,600 sq. ft. business building became available in Aiea, Oahu at an unbelievably low price. The building has 18 offices on the second floor and a full warehouse on the first floor. In June, the church entered into a purchase agreement and is now waiting to see the cost of the lease of the land (much of the land in Hawaii is leased and not owned).

Rob had sent many pictures of the office building and the warehouse and began speaking to us about joining him in establishing the Apostolic Center. Sometime in July I was sitting in my Jacuzzi one night and I instantly had a thought, “The warehouse in my dream is that warehouse in Aiea, Oahu!” I was stunned! As I thought back to the dream, I remembered that Daniel Chinen, the young man leading the thousands to the warehouse, was born and raised in Hawaii.

In August Donna and I flew to Hawaii and we stood in that warehouse. It was surreal. It was the same warehouse. So what does this mean?

Donna and I are in agreement that we are to be a part of the work that will be taking place on Oahu. We also know that we will still be involved at Aslan’s Place in Apple Valley. How does this work out?

We are now selling the Victorian house in Hesperia, Ca that first housed Aslan’s Place. Ministry at the Aslan’s Place house in Apple Valley will continue. At the sale of the Victorian, Aslan’s Place will purchase a condo/house for us to live in part time on Oahu. We are believing God for the additional funds that will be needed for that purchase.

The building will be called The Family Legacy Center. Within The Family Legacy center will be a new school called Kingdom Institute. This institute will provide college level classes to equip believers for ministry. My part will be to train people in discernment and generational prayer.

Mountain View Community Church will also meet in this building. In addition, Aslan’s Place and other ministries will have offices within this center. This is a fulfillment of the dream Donna and I had at the very beginning of Aslan’s Place for an integrated training and healing center. We believe this center will become a model for training centers around the world.

We will all operate in unity to help train and equip people from all over the world to operate in their spiritual gifts.
