WHO and WHAT is ISRAEL?
Genesis 12:1-3 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred…2 And I will make of thee a great nation… 3 I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall ALL FAMILIES of the earth be blessed.
A huge step towards understanding end-time prophecy is knowing who Israel is today. The promise of blessing and cursing was to ALL of Abram’s offspring. This includes the Ishmaelites and sons of his second wife Keturah that he sent away to the east.
During the OT era the word nation meant a family group or tribe, not a country. Abram was a Chaldean who migrated to Canaan and was a Hebrew by ancestral descent. His grandson Jacob became the first Israelite when Father Yhovah changed his name to Israel and reconfirmed the Covenant promise, recorded in:
Genesis 28:14 Thy seed (Jacob’s) shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall ALL THE FAMILIES of the earth be blessed.
When reaffirming the Covenant with mankind at Mount Sinai many blessings were promised if the people were obedient and many curses if they were not.
Exodus 12:37-38 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. 38 and a MIXED MULTITUDE went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
Deuteronomy 28:45 and 64 Moreover, all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded thee… 64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
They were not obedient and they were scattered. Before being scattered they lived in Canaan, the land of Israel. The Romans changed the name of Canaan to Palestine in 70AD. There was no country named Israel until 1948, dividing the land and causing much more dissension.
ALL FAMILIES OF THE EARTH have been grafted into the family vine of Israel by intermarriages over thousands of years. This is why in the Revelation prophecy there are only 12 gates into New Jerusalem, each with the name of an Israelite tribe. We are at the end of this age, at the end of the third day, and everyone today has some of Abraham’s and Jacob’s DNA and are the family of Israel.
The Star of David emblem confirms this Truth. The triangles represent Father Yhovah reaching down to mankind and mankind searching for and reaching up to Father. The octagon in the center represents Family Unity. In this photo the pictures on each side of the star diagram were taken during a visitation of the pillar cloud the Holy Family still travels in.
The point star in the triangle representing our first parents is Sirius, mentioned in:
Revelation 22:16 I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
This prophetic verse means that if we believe Messiah Immanuel is the Son of God and obey the Kingdom gospel He taught, we go home!
On the left shoulder of Father’s triangle is Arcturus, The Coming One. Cetus, the sea monster Leviathan, is on the right shoulder, but above him is Perseus, the warrior, who has fatally wounded him.
The point star on mankind’s triangle is Aquila, the eagle, representing the highest level of spiritual maturity. The piercing arrow represents death-to-self as we become the dead-in-Christ. The left point is the brightest star in the constellation Leo, the Lion. Its name is Regulus, meaning the King and it is actually comprised of two pairs of stars, representing the Father-Son and Mother-Daughter relationships of the Holy Family. The right point is Eridanus, the river, representing final judgment as it flows into outer darkness.
In the Revelation prophecy, the end of our earth age is represented by a scroll rolling up, indicating the end of the story. The Elect are caught up to safety, saved from the wrath of God prior to the huge earthquake that starts the destruction of all evil left behind.
