A collection of studies about the books of Daniel and Revelation focused on using the original historical and literary contexts of each book as the starting point of the interpretive process. For example, Revelation was addressed to seven very real first-century churches, and ignoring that historical setting will produce inaccurate results. The two books are studied together because Revelation employs several key passages from the book of Daniel such as Daniel 7:21, as well as numerous verbal allusions.
