The ICZC is started by Jan Willem van der Hoeven who was the principal founder of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (ICEJ). He is one among the core group who initiated, in 1980, the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles every year in the Land of Israel during the biblical feast of Sukkot. As spokesman for the ICEJ, he traveled through many nations of all continents, bringing the passion and fire that burned for the soil chosen by the Lord in the hearts of millions of people.
