While waiting before the Lord this morning, I saw a pastoral scene. It was beautiful and peaceful. I was looking at it when it started to zoom in. First I saw the grass then the insects then the soil and all the way to the quantum level. I was pondering what this could mean, when the awe of the LORD surrounded me. I heard, "Why would you limit Me? Haven't I created the physical realm and the spiritual realm? Why would you think that's all there is?" Then the verse came to mind, Job 26:14 (BSB) "Indeed, these are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the whisper we hear of Him! Who then can understand the thunder of His power?"
