I was asking the Lord what He wanted me to do today and I heard the words, “It's not about do, it's about be.” I was pondering what these words mean. I think that who we are leads to what we do. What do we believe deep in our heart? Are we willing to make time to spend with our Creator each day so He can impart His wisdom and understanding into our hearts? Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Google says: “In this context, it suggests that a person's mindset, beliefs, and attitudes shapes their identity and actions.” Our identity comes from God. He is our Father. Children who love their father, look forward to spending time with him. He looks forward to spending time with us. Song of Solomon 2:10 “My beloved spoke, and said to me: Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.” He's calling us to rise up and come away with Him.
