Years ago I watched a show about an African Safari. Their home base was a series of tents pitched on a platform of wood a few inches above the ground. I wondered how that could protect them from all the wild animals surrounding them. Just a canvas tent between them and all of the fierce and powerful beasts around them. In the natural, it seems like today we are in a similar situation. We're in a flimsy tent pitched on a wooden platform a few inches above the ground surrounded by wild beasts who want to devour us. That's what it looks like. Actually in the Spiritual realm, our tent is pitched on a rock and under the shadow of God's wings with angels guarding us.
Matthew 7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”
Psalm 91:4 “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”
Psalm 91:11 “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”
