A couple of days ago I asked Holy Spirit to show me anything in my heart that needed healing. This morning I was waiting before the Lord and asking Him why all of these negative thoughts and doubts kept coming to my mind and why I couldn't get freedom from them? Suddenly I felt myself falling through time and space face first. Things kept coming toward me and buffeting me and knocking me to and fro. I was totally out of control. I couldn't stop no matter what I tried. Finally, I said Lord help me! I heard the words, “nothing can take you out of My hand.” I saw a point ahead of me. I kept repeating over and over “nothing can take me out of His hand.” As I approached the point I had seen, I realized I was slowing down and as long as I focused on that point and kept repeating “nothing can take me out of His hand” I stopped falling. I was no longer being buffeted and gradually a sense of peace overwhelmed me. I knew I was in God's hand and nothing could harm me. After resting in His peace for a while, I looked up the verse.
John 10:28 (Amplified) “And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.”
Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Many of us have been being buffeted in the season we have been in for so long. Sometimes it feels like it will never stop. Be of good cheer, our Lord Jesus Christ has got this.
