STUDY: PROPHETIC DAY OF YAHVAH IS HERE! Part III
D.Unprecedented Worldwide Trouble
Daniel prophesied of another important feature which would result from the second presence of Yahvah: “...there shall be a time of troublem such as never was since there was a nation...” Da 12:1 Yahvahosha confirmed this expectation related to his return: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world...” Mt 24:21
Just prior to the establishment of Messiah's peaceable Kingdom there is a great struggle between the forces of good and evil. Trouble and controversy afflict the earth as the kingdoms of this world are about to pass from Satan's control to Messiah's Messianic Kingdom. Rev 11:15-18 “And the seventh Messenger blew the trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of the world are our Yahvah's and his Messiah's, and he shall reign for evermore. Then the four and twenty Elders, which sat before Yahvah on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshipped Yahvah. Saying, We give thee thanks, Yahvah the Eternal Almighty, Which art, and which art to come: for thou hast received thy great might, and hast obtained thy kingdom. And the Gentiles were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give r4eward unto thy servants the Prophets, and to thy Chosen, and to them that fear thy Name, to small and great, and shouldest destroy them, which destroy the earth.”
Headlines concerning global trouble are an evidence to all who are watching for the fulfillment of prophecy:
*Evils are exposed as never before.
Lk 12:2 “For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed: neither hid, that shall not be known.”
1Co 4:5 “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until Yahvahosha come, who will lighten things that are hid in darkness, and make the counsels of the hearts manifest: and then shall every man have praise of Yahvah.”
*The weak, such as ISIS, say they are strong,
Joel 3:10 “Break your plowshares into swords, and your scythes into spears; let the weak say, I am strong,”
*“Signs & lying wonders” increase in many insidious forms,
2Th 2:8-11 “And then shall the wicked man be revealed, whom Yahvahosha shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth, and shall abolish with the brightness of his coming, Even him whose coming is by the effectual working of Satan, with all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And in all deceivableness of unrighteousness, among them that perish, because they receive not the love of truth, that they might be saved. And therefore Yahvah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe lies.
*Wars occur on a global scale, starting with WWI.
Joel 3:9-11 “Publish this among the Gentiles: prepare war, wake up the mighty men: let all the men of war draw near and come up. Break your plowshares into swords, and your scythes into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assembly yourselves, and come all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round round about there shall Yahvah cast down the mighty men.”
Zeph 3:8 “Therefore wait upon me, saith Yahvah, until the day that I rise up to prey: for I am determined to gather the nations, and that I will assemble the kingdoms to pour upon them mine indignation even all my fierce wrath from all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.”
*Natural disasters increase hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fiewa, and pest infestations.
Mk 13:8 “For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers quarters, and there shall be famine and troubles: these are the beginning of sorrows.”
*Infidelity pervades from presidency to pulpit.
2Tim 4:1-4 “I Charge thee therefore before Yahvah, and before the Saviour Yahvahosha the Messiah, which shall judge the quick and the dead, at that his appearing, and in his kingdom. Preach the word be instant in season, and out of season: improve, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come, when they will not suffer wholesome doctrine but having their ears itching, shall after their own lusts get them an heap of teachers. And shall turn their ears from the truth and shall be given unto fables.”
*Pandemics plague health systems and strain financial markets.
James 5:1-6 “Go to now, ye rich men: weep, and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupt, and your garments are moth eaten. Your gold and silver is cankered, and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh, as it were fire. Ye have heaped up treasure for the last days. Behold, the hire of the laborers, which have reaped your fields (which of you kept back by fraud) crieth, and the cries of them which have reaped, are entered into the ears of Yahvah of hosts. You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and in wantonness. Ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned, and have killed the just, and he hath not resisted you.”
*False prophets deceive for glory and financial gain.
Mt 24:5 “For many shall come in my Name, saying, saying I am Messiah, and shall deceive many.”
Titus 1:11 “Whose mouths must be stopped, which subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.”
*Hearts fail for fear.
Lk 21:26 “And men's hearts shall fail them for fear and for looking after those things which shall come on the world: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
1Th 5:3 “For they shall say, Peace and safety, then shall come upon them sudden destruction, as the travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.”
Children disrespect parents and authority.
2Tim 3:2 “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unrighteous.”
Da 2:44 explains why there is global turmoil: “And in the days of these kings shall the Eternal of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed...it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever>”
