Christmas: Is This When When Yahvahosha The Messiah Was Really

  • Christmas: Is This When When Yahvahosha The Messiah Was Really Born?

We are approaching the time of the year, where Brethren around the World celebrate the supposed birth of Yahvahosha the Messiah (peace be upon him), which is December 25th. Question arises:- ‘is there any evidence from the Bible for the assumed date, 25th December?’ The Gospel of Luke relates the time, the birth of Yahvahosha the Messiah:

Luke 2:8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of Yahvah appeared to them, and the glory of Yahvah shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Saviour. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Notice, the shepherds were abiding out-door in the field. They had their flocks in the field at night. The imagery of the shepherds living out in the fields’, in the open field at night, and it is the coldest part of the day, and the coldest season of the year is absurd for some Brethren to say that ‘Yahvahosha was born in December’. No shepherd would be outside at that time of the year, sitting outside in the field watching their flocks. Common wisdom suggests that Yahvahosha the Messiah was born in Fall, but not winter time. The evidence presented from the Gospel of Luke thus shows that Yahvahosha could not have been born in December.

    C. L. Chapman in his book ‘Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth’ writes:

“The Idea of shepherds being in the field in the middle of winter is outrageous. The birth of the Saviour had to be in the fall.”

Holman Christian Standard Bible ‘Harmony of the Gospels’ also comments:

“The closest thing to biblical evidence is the reference to the shepherds watching over their flocks at night in the open fields (Lk 2:8). This would indicate a night-time birth (hence our Christmas Eve traditions). It would also seem to indicate a birth between late September or early October, since the sheep were usually kept in folds rather than in pen fields during the winter months, making our December date of the observance suspect.”

It is commonly known among Religious clergy that 25th December was chosen by the Church to adopt and absorb pagan festivals. So whose Birthday are Brethren really celebrating on the 25th December? The answer, they are celebrating the pagan deity Mithras. The Persian god Mithras’s birthday had always been celebrated on 25th December.

Episcopal Deacon Vicki K. Black says:

“….Brethren in the fourth century decided to adopt December 25 as their feast of the Saviour's birth. This was the day that the Romans celebrated the birthday of the ‘unconquerable sun,’ a festival in honor of the sun-god Mithra, a deity of Persian origin. The festival was linked to the winter solstice and was a day marked by joyful celebration and great splendour in Rome, making it a fitting date for Brethren to celebrate the birth of their own ‘unconquerable Son.’ So from the very beginning Brethren has shared it day with celebrations from other religions.”

Minister Scotty McLennan also admits that the birthday of the god Mithra was celebrated on the 25th December:

“In the ancient Roman world, December 25 was celebrated as the birthday of the deity Mithra, who was identified with the sun and called the sun of righteousness. Along with his December 25 birthday date, the title ‘sun of Righteousness’ was subsequently transferred from Mithra to Jesus and is preserved that way in the third verse of the Christmas carol ‘Hark the Herald Angels sing.’”

In the book ‘An Introduction to the Bible’ written By Robert Kugler and Patrick J. Hartin say that ‘December 25 the was taken over by Christians to celebrate the birth of God’s son’, in reality as they will explain, it was copied from the pagans:

“The mysteries of Mithras originated in Persia, and the cult was very popular among Roman soldiers. In the 3rd Century C.E. it became the state religion of Rome. Women were excluded from participation. Information about this cult is gleaned from carvings found in caves (called Mithraeum) where rituals took place. Mithras was worshipped as the sun-deity, who was born on December 25 (the winter solstice) and was visited by shepherds. Later sacrificed a bull (the Zodiac sign of Taurus), and from this bull’s blood came new life. Initiates had to go through seven stages of initiation, each under the protection of a planetary god. These seven stages were a preparation for the eventual salvation that the initiate would experience at death when the soul moved through seven planetary stages to the place from which it originated. Every Mithraeum had a central statue of Mithras slaying a bull. One can note many similarities with the rituals of ALL Religion:December 25 was taken over by Brethren to celebrate the birth of God’s Son on earth, while baptism and common meals were two features that Mithraism and Religion held in common.”

Since it is established clearly that Jesus was not born in December, but most probably in Spring or summer time, why do Brethren still continue to celebrate Yahvahosha Kessiah’s birthday on December 25th?

We read this in Jeremyah 10:1-4 “Hear ye the word which YAHVAH speaketh unto you, O house of Israyl. Thus saith YAHVAH, Learn not the way of the heaven, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe, They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasteb it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Now, we can learn what month Elizabeth was in when her cousin Mary came to see her.

We read in Luke 2:26-38 And in the sixth month the messenger Gabriyl was sent from Yahvah unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the messenger came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, Yahvah is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the messenger said unto her, fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with Yahvah. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Yahvahosha. He shall be great; and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and Yahvah the Eternal shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the messenger, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the messenger answered and said unto her, The Consecrated Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that righteous thing which shall be born of thee shall be cvalled the Son of Yahvah. And behold, thy cousin Elisabeth she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with here who was called barren. For with Yahvah nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of YAHVAH; be it unto me according to thy word. And the messenger departed from her.

When we study when Elisabeth's husbsand finished his Priestly discourse it was June, and 6 months later at this time would be December.

Then the time for John's birth was in March at the Passover time.

Our Saviour Yahvahosha the Messiah would have been born at the Feast of Tabernacle's in the Fall, and that was Late September or early October.

Most believe He was born on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles which would have been our October 5th of that year, not December 25th.

Remember, when Yahvahosha's died He was 33 ½ yrs old and going back 33 ½ yrs comes to the Fall at the time of the Feast of Tabernacles not December 25th and all the pagan things that go with this day.

So if one keeps December 25th as the day He was born, you are not having the true Saviour but a fake. Because we are not to learn the way of the heathens and all the customs that go along with it.

It was the Catholic Religion that started the keeping of December 25th for His birth.

Now let me ask this question! Are we going to keep the traditions of men, or follow the Sciptures? The choice is yours.
