"You have to do what I'm going to ask you to do now, and I want you to do
it all the time from now on. I want you to notice...'what' is wrong with
you, anything - grief, anger, when you have that, notice the automatic
mechanical old and unnatural urge you have and action you take to try to
find the answer. You can't find anything on the planet Mars. You can't
find that on this earth. You can't find within the problem, within your
crying out, you can't find the 'how' [to fix it.]
Something has to happen to you, and you think sharply tonight, so you
understand the explanation of it. Where there is darkness, delusion,
sickness, sorrow, where there is wrongness of any kind, that is all there
is! It's the whole business! That's the whole world!...You don't
understand that there is nothing but sorrow and sorrow. There's no help
for it.
In the first place, because people don't want health. They love their
sorrow. Where there are wars, where there is widespread suffering,
revolutions, where there is that, that is all there is. There is not and
never will be one ounce of 'how,' that is, of rescue, of health, of healing.
There will never be one particle of healing on this earth. It's only the
'what.'
Now I said a minute ago, I want you to comprehend this for yourself, so
that you can see where you're making a mistake after you have this long
list of: 'What' is wrong with me?"
