Dear Yahvah, I ask You to help me receive the Sabbath as a precious gift from You. Help me to fully grasp the significance of this consecrated day, and to appreciate its blessings. ` Grant me the wisdom and understanding to set aside this time for rest, worship, and communion with You.
Fill me with a deep reverence for the Sabbath, so that I may honor and keep it consecrated according to Your 4th commandment. May I find true joy and refreshment in observing this day, and may it bring me closer to You and strengthen my faith.
