"All you need to do is to be clear inside. And the first step for doing
that is to see that you're not clear, that everything you look at, the
family scenes, the employment picture, no matter what it is, it's all
distorted. Guess where the distortion starts?
Now I will assure you absolutely just as there is a real clear natural
world out there, there is also a spiritual world - that you can see when
your spiritual sight has been cleansed. You will, in one sense, be what you
see. You are seeing what the Almighty Himself has provided for you to have.
You will understand that there is a certain kind of oneness in life and
when you're in that oneness, then the distortion, the blurred vision, has
no chance to lead you astray at all.
This is all again a matter of intense personal work, intense personal
application to what you hear in these classes. Now, that brings us to a
conclusion, the following conclusion please, underline it in your mind,
nothing matters except what you do with your life.
Try it again, say it from your viewpoint, 'Nothing matters except what I do
with my life.' You tell that to the masses out there, they say, 'Well, I'm
already concerned with my life.
No, you're NOT concerned with your life. You're concerned for example with
changing your thoughts to try to switch from boring thoughts to exciting
thoughts, trying to switch from thoughts of low self-worth to thoughts
where you can think of how great you are. That is not the same as being
concerned with your life. Your thoughts are not your life - you must
understand that, first of all. Otherwise, the thoughts you think are going
to be the blur in the window and you won't see life clearly and you won't
see yourself clearly."
