SECRETS OF LIFE (R) 9-19-24

  • "What is the source of all your falling down and getting hurt? Simply
because you don't understand yourself. You don't know what's going on
    inside of you.

Have you ever taken the time to find out? If you haven't, then you tell me
whose fault it is that you trip, fall down, cry.

Now listen to this, I'm going to tell you something astonishing. If any one
of you watching and hearing right now, if you really want to be fall free,
to not crash down anymore inwardly - it is possible to do it.

But you can't do it the way you now think you can do it, which is to try to
avoid obstacles, hidden obstacles because you can't recognize them when you
see them…. And so the problem continues. Falling down and getting hurt
simply means that something happens to you out in that very vast world and
there is nothing in you that can handle it properly.

Simple enough so far? OK so far? ...You don't get what you want and you fall
down. You trip and fall down because you don't feel that the world is
treating you as it should. You placed yourself at the mercy of your own
expectations...your demand that that man or that woman treat you nicely.
What if he or she doesn't? Why do you fall down? You don't understand that you
    don't have to....

What a tragedy to be constantly placing the problem out there instead of
seeing that the place where you fall down is the place where you have to go
to work to begin to understand what's going on inside of you....

Because if you can see inside yourself - see where you're causing all the
problem yourself - I'll tell you of a marvelous experience that will come
after that. You would finally come to the point of utter humiliation where
you're saying - you're not sure who you're saying it to yet - but you're
beginning to say, 'I can't handle my life for myself. I don't know what to
do with myself, I don't know how to control my mind or my feelings.'

'And if it depends on me' - see you're saying this sort of out loud and
this is a healthy saying, and the sooner you say this, the better - 'If it
depends on me to put myself and keep myself in control, it isn't going to
    be done.'"
