A salesman was walking through a busy public park on his way to a customer.
He heard someone shout, but was too absorbed in financial figures to pay
much attention. All of a sudden his feet went up and the rest of him went
down. He found himself sprawled out in a newly-dug ditch. Unhurt but
embarrassed, he looked up to see the foreman of a construction company. 'I
tried to warn you,' said the foreman, 'but you were miles away.'
The salesman stood up with a grin and a nod. 'I didn't realize you were
talking to me. I should have taken it personally.'
Take esoteric messages personally. They are for you, for you as an
individual human being.
The human mind operates strangely. A man insists upon personal attention,
personal guidance, personal enrichment - but rarely takes the helpful
messages personally! The man who falls into psychic ditches is the man who
must heed the friendly voice, and so avoid future falls."
