"THE GLOBE
A student of higher thought worked for a company which manufactured maps
and globes. One evening he came to class with a transparent globe of the
world. From a pocket he withdrew a small figure of a man with a length of
string attached. The student dropped the man through a hole in the top of
the globe, holding him suspended in the center of the plastic world.
'This illustrates a good lesson for all of us,' stated the student. 'There
is something wrong with this man. Do you see what it is?'
The student paused a moment, lifted the man out of the globe and explained,
'Stop thinking you are the center of the world.'
_Only in wrong thought do we appear to be the center of the world, which is
cured by thinking above ourselves_."
