THE DELICIOUS MELON
'How can we pass beyond the words to the experience?'
'A band of travelers in ancient Persia were invited to spend the night at
the mansion of a wealthy merchant. At dinner the guests were served a
delicious melon. So superior was the melon's taste that every guest
except one praised the merchant for it. The silent guest was silent because
he was busy placing the melon's seeds into his pocket. Observing this,
the merchant nodded in approval, for he knew that the silent guest was also
wise.'"
