"People think that they are capable of learning and commanding
any subject that they run into. Nowhere do they have this enor-
mous vanity in greater proportion than in the spiritual life,
the inner way. Talk about reality, God, spiritual subjects,
and everyone believes, not only believes that he can learn
quickly, but in most cases it's not even necessary to learn
because he already knows and understands. You must realize
that you have to learn how to learn. If you don't do that, if
you don't know that you have to learn how to learn, then you'll
have to continue to be what you are. Anyone who doesn't know
that and doesn't know enough to start way back within himself,
will have to live as he always lives by the three big B's -
bluff, bluster and bravado."
