Actual Widows

  • I know I privously said that this is a three day Study, but I've decided to make it in to a two day Study.  Here we go:

    Actual Widows: 

    Ruth 1:5:      Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died, and the woman was bereft of her two children and her husband.

    1 Samuel 27:3:      And David lived with Achish at Gath, he and his men, each with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal’s widow.

    Luke 4:26:      and yet Elijah was sent to none of them, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

    Luke 7:12:      Now as He approached the gate of the city, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a sizeable crowd from the city was with her.

    Mark 12:42:      A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent.
