Guess who got a late start this morning?
It's because we went in for our flu shots this morning. We just didn't have the time to get them on Friday.
Not only that, Gary has been trying to get a hold of K. T., from DeWitt City Offices, but she hasn't been answering his calls. He went to Dewitt in July, to get the ball rolling on the burial plot for us, she said it would only take a couple of weeks, that she would file after the 4th of July clean up. Never heard from her by August 1st, so he called again. She said she'd forgotten all about it, that they were in the process of moving, and she'd get it done, as soon as they finished moving. Well nothing is heard form her in August, so September 1st. Gary called her again, and again, and again, and......through the whole month of September, she refused to take his calls, up to today. He finally called the DeWitt City Clerk, and told her what was going on. And, unfortunately, she's, basically, K.T.'s boss. She informed Gary, she'd be calling K.T. on it, and would see to it, that it would get done ASAP. I mean, how long does it take to fill out a deed, sand have it signed? In a matter of minutes, not months.
Anyway, I'll be in and out now, for the rest of the day, and the Study will start tomorrow. I get tired on easy on flu shot day, lol!
