    Afflictions Of The Wicked:

     

    Exodus 14:4:

    Thus I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will chase after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.


    Ezekiel 38:22-23:

    With pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone. I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.”’


    Psalm 37:13:

    The Lord laughs at him,
    For He sees his day is coming.


    Proverbs 1:26-27:

    I will also laugh at your calamity;
    I will mock when your dread comes,
    When your dread comes like a storm
    And your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
    When distress and anguish come upon you.


    Deuteronomy 31:17:

    Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will come upon them; so that they will say in that day, ‘Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have come upon us?’


    Job 20:12-18:

    “Though evil is sweet in his mouth
    And he hides it under his tongue,
    Though he desires it and will not let it go,
    But holds it in his mouth,
    Yet his food in his stomach is changed
    To the venom of cobras within him.

    But he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.


    Job 15:20:

    “The wicked man writhes in pain all his days,
    And numbered are the years stored up for the ruthless.


    Isaiah 32:10:

    Within a year and a few days
    You will be troubled, O complacent daughters;
    For the vintage is ended,
    And the fruit gathering will not come.


    Psalm 73:19:

    How they are destroyed in a moment!
    They are utterly swept away by sudden terrors!
