I've been listening to the news, forming my own opinions and feeling very still inside about it all.
I wish that things were better in the good ol' USA and all around the rest of the world.
I want to show you something:
Revelation 6:
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
This is AFTER the four horsemen and it says right there that the Lord, at this time, is not judging the earth so far as the martyrs know.
All my life I've heard preachers say "The Lord knows how many people will be saved and he's waiting for all of them that will be saved before he takes the church from the Earth." But this scripture says he knows how many martyrs he will tolerate before he takes the church from the Earth. That's a number he's waiting on and mankind has the power over when that happens.
Therefore, this is why Jesus was fuzzy on that question.
The world is like the Lord said it would be, that the love of many would grow cold because wickedness abounds. The Lord challenges his own to not lose their ability to love.
