It would appear that this site has preferences on what I'm allowed to publish and I'm not allowed to publish. It's not like I'm trying to get a pew-lits-er but I do feel as though some things are worth saying and worth hearing. The three blogs that didn't "take" on here were the best religious blogs I'd written on here so far.
I suppose this is a socialist site then? Which reminds me.......do you know why King James made the Bible widely available and readable in english instead of latin? He did it because the Catholic church had a monopoly on religion which meant that the interpretation of scripture was only as good as the priest you talked to about it. They could add to or omit as they bloody well pleased. Imagine that, trying to hold God hostage. People lump the Catholics in with the protestants and call them all Christians, but the protestants fled england because of the power of the Catholic church who was killing Christians at will unless they professed that the pope had the same power and authority as God on the planet. Freedom to worship as they pleased without being told what to believe and profess by a government. Now the democratic liberal movement is trying to transform America into a place that punishes you if you exercise free speech.
Their version of "compassion" comes with a viciousness that cancels any good they portend to be trying to accomplish. Dare I say that the poo packers are trying to run the world? As far as I'm concerned they can have the damn world, it's slated for destruction one day anyhow. The world hasn't done me very many favors. Don't tell me I'm way off base with this either, I see what hollyweird glorifies and what it mocks, they sport sin as if they invented the stuff and they market it like it's candy. Graveyards are full of people who lived in sin, the wages thereof is still death and only Jesus has the ticket to get out of that one. Society keeps trying to convince you that you don't need a ticket. The poo packers are trying to convince you that championing them and their cause, which is mostly their personal gain, is now your ticket.....to what? Exactly. You see, you could get every christian on the planet to give you a pass on sin and rejection of Christ all you want but their approval has no sway over God. I cannot exonerate myself, much less anyone else.
Oh sure, there is a scripture that says you can ask God to forgive a brother for their sin and he will but you see, it says a brother in Christ which is a special situation and does not apply to those who belong to the household of the devil. We're supposed to ask the Lord to bless those folks and for the life of me I find that hard to do sometimes. Not because of what they do or say or believe, but because of the way they try to impose those beliefs on me through violence or other means at their disposal. Thus far God has protected as best, I suppose, as he can, from them and I'm thankful for that but what I'm really looking forward to is being taken out of this place and letting them have at it, and each other. They think they're so smart.
I can already see what Godlessness looks like in other countries and that's small taters compared to what it's going to look like when the church gets raptured.
Swift and Gutfeld.......are they the same person? The writing style is the same. Objectives disguised as sarcasm.........reading the enemy playbook and then using it against them, now I'm on familiar territory. Someone once gave me brass monkey to drink........someone with the same mindset gave me a literal brass unicorn to display in my house.........I've considered passing it along to someone more worthy than myself but I'm holding on to it for now. I take comfort in knowing with all my heart and soul that no matter what happens in my personal world, the scripture says that the gates of hell will not be able to stifle what Christ put into play when he destroyed the power of sin and death. But I see they're giving it a good ol' college try.
