God’s Will
One of the things I love about God is that the poor were no longer excluded from an education.
Jesus came to teach the poor everything He heard from His Father in Heaven.
In the Kingdom of God, there isn’t anything you can’t know, that God has revealed.
It is our Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom, and everything that comes with that, as Jesus says, in Luke 12:31-32. For in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom, according to the Apostle Paul, in Colossians 2:3.
One of the most beautiful memories from my childhood is the smell of home-made bread baking in the oven. When it came out of the oven, the next best thing was eating the first slice with butter and honey.
Discovering the treasures within the Word of God has been that kind of experience for me as an adult. Having grown up listening to the Scriptures from early childhood, the words are familiar, and yet as I grow in the grace and knowledge of God, God becomes more Precious to me than ever.
The truth becomes clearer, and the principles within each Book of the Bible become more valuable to me now than they ever were when I was a child.
