In writing, The Language of God, National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins, who led the effort to sequence the human genome, tells of his journey from atheism to belief, through seeing and understanding God’s creative power.
In his book Collins asks, ”Is there still the possibility of a richly satisfying harmony between the scientific and spiritual worldviews?” He answers with a resounding “Yes!” Although science tells us how things work, it is The Word and our faith walk with God that tells us why things work.
Our God is greater than anything and everything that we can face in this life, and it is this assurance that gives us the confidence to live expectantly, even in these uncertain times. We encourage you to spend private time with God on a daily basis, through studying His Word and praying. In doing so, we are confident you will grow in your faith walk, and you will have increased confidence to face the future and whatever it holds.
None of us knows with certainty what tomorrow will bring, but we can confidently know that God, as Creator of the Universe, completely knows all the details of all the tomorrows. He wants each of us to spend eternity with Him through believing in His Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and accepting Him as our Savior.
The human body has been called the microcosm of the universe, a little world of wonders and a monument of divine wisdom and power, sufficient to convince the most incredulous mind of the existence of the Great Designer.
