DISCOURAGED ?

  • The following came from John 3:1-21, read this scripture even if you know it.

     Nicodemus had come to Yeshua at night to ask Him questions and He answered Nicodemus in the following;

    V:10 Yeshua says " you're a teacher of Israel and you do not understand these things"? Then Yeshua goes on to say the following, " I tell you, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, Yet you all do not receive our testimony! IF you do not believe the earthly things I told you, how will you believe when I tell you about heavenly things"?

    V:16; For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Then He goes on to say in v:17,18; that the Son was not sent to condemn but to give a way that the people of the world might be saved and have a promise of eternity in Heaven, with and through  Yeshua, the Son.

    V:19: " Now this is the judgment,, that the light has come into the world and men loved the darkness instead of the light , because their deeds were evil..

    V:20; For everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed.

    V:21; But whoever practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be made known that his deeds have been accomplished in God"

    We give this to someone today for you have been discouraged in giving your testimony, even though it is things that you have seen and may have gone through, others that you shared with just don't seem to get it. If people don't believe you of things that God has brought you through or has shown you then how will they believe when you share heavenly things?

    So do not be discouraged given your testimony, but be selective, and you say what do you mean by that? just this simple rule to follow when you talk to those that you do now for sure their relationship with Christ, allow them to open up the door of opportunity to share what God has done for you. Pray for wisdom, discernment and guidance in talking with others. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you at the right time to those that will receive what God has for them to hear. And that may be just as simple as a smile, listening, being there, and not being judgemental.
