As we look around this Nation and world today, watching and experiencing God's Infallible, Prophetic Words come to pass. The leaders are calling for unity but fall short in encouraging us to get there. We must come to the supernatural knowledge of God and His love, which includes living according to His will and striving for unity among believers, Yeshua's followers must live in the limitation of Him.
So lets take a look at Ephesians chapter 4 for a moment. Here Paul writes from prison a letter "for the sake of you Gentiles":

Paul writes in Ephesians 4 about the Unity of the Body and of God to encourage you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you were called, with complete humility and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, making every effort to keep the UNITY of the Spirit in the bond of Peace. In verse 4-7; it says " there is one body and one flesh, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling. one Lord, one faith, one immersion: One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace was given in keeping with the measure of Messiah's gift". Verse 11-12; it says," And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; some pastors, and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: in Verse 13-16; it says this will continue until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God. to mature adulthood, to the measure of the stature of Messiah's fullness; As a result, we are no longer to be like children, tossed around by the waves and blown all over by every wind of teaching by trickery of man with cunning in deceitful scheming, instead. speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all ways into Messiah, who is the Head. From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. The proper working of each individual part produces the body's growth, for building itself up in love.
The unity that people are calling for is agreeing together about things that affect this Nation or around the world. but here we see Paul is talking about the unity in Yeshua, Jesus Christ to be perfected to work, edify together the body of Christ; It must start in our home, churches, work, and in the political arena through prayer and fasting for each other and the leaders to be.
So we must no longer walk as the pagans do, stumbling around in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance in them due to the hardness of their heart. Since they are past feeling, they have turned themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of immortality, with greed for more. Just look at what took center of attention at the olympics, at the start and end.
Verse 19; Let no harmful word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for building others up according to the need, so that it gives grace to those who hear it. DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness and rage and anger and quarreling and slander, along with all malice. Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other just as God in Messiah also forgave you.
So the end here, we should strive to be in unity but by the Word of God and not by the word of man. The word of man will deceive you, but the Word of God will lead you.
