"CARGO SHIPS"
JOE JOE DAWSON, TEXARKANA, TX
I recently had a prophetic dream that I believe is for many in the Body of Christ in this season. I was so stirred by this dream that I woke up two hours before my alarm and went straight into the place of prayer. I also knew this dream was significant and strategic for this hour when the Lord kept bringing it to my memory even several days later.
In the dream, I was standing on a shore and over to my right, about twenty to thirty feet away from me, were a few people. Further to my right, there was another small group of people. Then, I looked to my left and could see a few people about the same distance away from me as those on the right. Past them were more people even further down the beach. We were all looking out toward the water and then I heard a man way off to one side of me yell, “The cargo ships are coming!” I felt electricity shoot through my body when he said this, and I quickly looked straight ahead at the ocean. I could see that there were loaded-down cargo ships of different sizes, all heading straight toward all of us standing on the beach. I became so excited in the dream at the sight of these ships that I woke up.
This dream reminds me of a prophetic statement that people say, which is based off Isaiah 60:6-9: “The camels are coming.” Camels can represent provision in prophetic dreams or visions. In my dream, there were cargo ships coming, not camels. However, like the camels, I believe they could also mean provision. They were ships coming in on the ocean instead of camels across land, so I believe this dream is saying that provision—abundant and overwhelming provision—is coming for you in this hour in a way you may not expect. Financial provision is coming to many who have the desire and integrity to steward it in order to advance the Kingdom of God.
I also think that the ships represent the two spiritual gifts that aren’t often talked about: the gifts of “administration” and “helps.” I believe many individuals who carry these unique spiritual giftings will be sent to come alongside you in this season in order to help you facilitate the Kingdom assignment God has placed in your heart to do. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” All these things are about to be added to those who have been diligently seeking the Kingdom above all else. Your cargo ships of help and provision are on the way, my friend!
Even after having shared this prophetic dream and its message, I can still sense the power and presence of God. The excitement I felt in this dream has not left me. This is an amazing season we are in as the Body of Christ, and I know God is doing so much more behind the scenes right now than we could ever dream of or begin to comprehend. Just keep watching and waiting upon the Lord, my friends, because the cargo ships are coming! You will see the Lord make a way where there seems to be none, and you will access the unlimited resources of Heaven in this season to see amazing things happen and the advancement of the Kingdom of
God like never before. So, get ready, the cargo ships are coming!
