"A 'FIT OUT'"
ROMA WATERMAN, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
This morning in prayer, the Lord showed me a picture that really impacted me, and I wanted to share it with you. I pray it blesses you!
I saw a shop completely empty. It needed to be renovated to be a place that could house all the gifts that people could buy. I saw the hand of the Lord come in and completely renovate the room, adding shelves where needed, carpet on the floor, and painting the walls.
In the next scene, I saw beautiful treasures and gifts being displayed on the shelves. Once this was ready, people began to come in and enjoy looking at all the beautiful treasures on the shelves.
I then heard the Lord say: "I am doing a 'FIT OUT' in you. I want you to know you are not called to fit in but to 'fit out.' I am doing a renovation that will cause beauty from the inside out. I don't want you to try and fit in with what you think is expected of you or how you think things should look. I want you to let Me do the renovating that will start in the rooms of your heart! For there are treasures I want your life to display that come from the beauty of My heart, but I can only place them in rooms that are ready.
"When you try to fit in, you are the ones trying to renovate your life. I have a different way of doing things, and it does not require you to be something you are not. And yet, I will transform you; you WILL be changed, but it will be a supernatural transformation that causes you to become more of who you are destined to be. And as you allow Me to change you more into My likeness, oh, the treasures that will pour out of you will be beyond what you could have ever imagined! And these gifts from My heart will bless and empower those who enter your life.
"I don't want you to try and change in your own strength; I want you to allow Me to do it. For I have not called you to fit in, I've called you to 'fit out.' The renovation is coming. Will you let Me do it?"
