"PRAYER FOR OUR CHILDREN"
CRISTINA BAKER. AUSTIN, TX
Heavenly Father, we thank You today that Your mercies are new every morning. Lord, we ask for the power of forgiveness that has been provided through Your heart and Son Jesus to be revealed in the hearts of Your children.
Your Word declares that the sons of the righteous would be mighty in the land (Psalm 112:2). We ask You Father to keep our children’s hearts, their souls, their bodies, and minds pure. We pray that their eyes would be set up upon You. Thank You Lord that our children will walk in the counsel of the righteous and not of the wicked (Psalm 1). We thank You for washing away our sins through the blood of Jesus and we ask that You would help every family to carry joy and love for one another.
Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to protect, shield, bring conviction of righteousness in their hearts, and release your love over our kids. We pray for protection over their lives, and that above all, no matter what they do, that they would love You with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength (Mark 12:30).
By faith, we call prodigals home, and that the incorruptible seed of Your Word would break forth in this season like never before. Remind them of who they are in You. Jesus, You are faithful to hear the cries of fathers and mothers. We love You Jesus, amen.
