Jesus didn't tell us to go and make great followers. He said, "Go and make disciples."
Focusing on discipleship, it's the narrow road—the road less traveled. The church has confused the size of a gathering with changed lives. Personally, I've been reminded how difficult and challenging this road can be. Yet it's our call, and, most importantly, it matters as it's the way of Jesus.
Followers may create an audience, but disciples produce an army.
