"TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND FORGE AHEAD!"

"Take a deep breath and forge ahead!" I heard these words by the Holy Spirit after seeing many in the body of Christ asking themselves, "Has the brook dried up?"
Due to a drought the brook, where the Word of the Lord prophesied to Elijah to keep him hidden from Ahab, dried up. Elijah had an expiration date on his prophecy from the Lord—a time when the current phase of his journey would come to an end and a new phase would begin. At the Brook Cherith, Elijah found himself in a transitional posture where his reliance on God was not optional. Although the unknown dogged Elijah every day, it was only when the Lord announced his plans to Elijah to move him from his place of "hiddenness" that Elijah obeyed.
One would perceive that Elijah was hidden to be tested before his next assignment appeared. Elijah's faith grew as his understanding expanded in the ways of the Lord. During a season of redefining his character and sharpening his prophetic and hearing skills, Elijah discovered that wherever the Word of the Lord sent him, his life was under the Great I Am's care. Even through the fear of unfamiliarity, the Lord provided for Elijah what Elijah couldn't provide for himself.
I was reminded of this word that I had penned in my journal from the years when I wondered if God had dried my brook of provision up, due to what I viewed as a long-awaited season of questioning my next assignment. In the end, what I had gleaned from the days of being stuck in transition was worth far more than gold.
The Lord says this to you today: "Take a deep breath and forge ahead!"
"Beloved, in the days ahead, pay attention to hold close the revelations I uncover to you and cherish them like manna from heaven (Exodus 16:4–5). As I fed Elijah by the Brook Cherith, so will I provide for you what you need and require during this next phase of advancement (1 Kings 17). Be at peace. Every step along the way, I will whisper my thoughts to you and give you guideposts to direct your footsteps to keep you from error. As you come to a crossroads or intersection in your journey, listen for the voice of my Spirit and wait for conformation before proceeding forward. Be consistent as you process your decisions and contemplate how I AM leading, and don't waver under pressure or time constraints to hurry forward. Your discernment, a powerful tool I have given you, will be your strength, and wisdom will demonstrate your experience in this season. Pray in the Spirit, especially when facing opposition, and rest in knowing I hear your every utterance. I AM with you. Walk confidently and step out with full assurance. I AM the Lord Your God."
