There may be great desire and passion to go forth and step out in the Kingdom. One may even possess great knowledge on a matter; this, however, is not Heaven's endorsement of authority. Desire, passion, and even knowledge is not Father's promotion nor appointment. His promotion comes from seasons of learning how to come under authority, where humility and meekness is developed in the life of Believer.
His promotion looks different to our idea. His promotion requires death to self. His promotion, many times, are seasons of battles where we grow in authority. His promotion is serving in His house; His promotion is serving another man's [vision] to qualify for your own. How long those seasons are, are up to Him. He is the Potter; we are the clay.
He exalts the humble, not the passionate. He exalts the faithful, not the know-it-alls. He exalts the meek, not those who are confident in their own ability.
Learn humility, learn subjection to authority, learn to yield to the times and seasons of God, because without that in the fabric of your foundation, you are merely operating in a counterfeit authority of self-appointment and the charisma of natural influence, and it may last for a moment but will not endure the fire.
