What brought you this far won't carry you into your next. If you're praying for new wine, you must be ready to let go of the old wineskin. Comfort may feel safe, but it was never designed to catapult you into your calling. Transformation demands disruption. If you want to shift the atmosphere of your life, you must be willing to walk on water, cast your net on the unfamiliar side, and keep looking for the cloud—seven times if you must—until it appears.
Growth will stretch you. It will test your limits, press against your capacity, and shake everything that was built on sand. But God hasn't called you to comfort—He's called you to courage. He's called you to rise, to press past the familiar, and step into the unknown with faith that moves and action that follows. Your next level is on the other side of obedience, and yes—it may hurt, but it will be holy.
