LIFE'S BILLBOARDS OF PROPHETIC WORDS
DANIEL PONTIOUS, SONORA, CA
As we travel the roads of this life on each of our journeys towards the Father, God will drop special messages to each of us along the way. Each of these messages will contain vital information for our direction and destination. Often the GPS (God Positioning Spirit) will drop them in front of us in just enough time to make a course correction or adjust our heading. The thing is, is that we must consistently be paying close attention to His presence and His voice as we are going, so as not to miss opportunities that may not only shorten our journey to our destination but also enhance it.
On the way to the Promised Land Israel was given opportunities to shorten their journey into the Promised Land and out of the wilderness, but because they refused to believe, they couldn't mix faith with the Word that He had given them, and as a result, most of them never obtained the promise. Some of us feel as though we've been driving in circles for years (much like Israel going around that mountain), and each time we drive past that billboard of His Word, we have a choice to make. We either believe the Word—take an off ramp and follow its directions to continue en route to the destination (our destiny)—or continue to circle the promise of it!
Today is the day for you to stop circling the promise of God for your life; dare to believe it's the truth! Forget about whether or not you can accomplish it yourself, and move in obedience towards it. As you do, you'll begin to experience and see heavenly interaction with the Word and His ability to make it happen instead of yours. If it really is what God has called you into, then you will need His ability flowing through your life to accomplish it anyway. Don't underestimate God's ability to use you for His glory. Today move towards the promise, and watch His destiny for you open up on the horizon. The closer you get, the more you'll begin to see His abilities flowing to perform the things He places in your path! ROADTRIP!
