MOVERS AND SHAKERS, DON'T FEAR THE BATTLE!
NATE JOHNSTON, ORANGE COUNTY, CA
Movers and shakers attract the most insane warfare that they feel crazy even talking about it! Can I get an amen? I have been contacted by over thirty people, at least, in the last few days telling me what they have been facing and the assignments God has given them.
Of course, the enemy is afraid of you and throwing everything plus the kitchen sink at you! You are a triple threat! Apathy and silence will lead you to the road of least resistance and living comfortable, but you won't take down any giants that way—it's not worth it.
I can't even talk about half the strange and bizarre things that we come up against. Firstly, because I just don't want to give the enemy any props, and secondly, because you would think we are crazy. But there are so many people right now standing before unusual giants and impossible odds. It's nonstop arrows and fires, BUT... it's also a guaranteed backfire, because if you stay in the secret place, it FUELS THE FIRE!
Our trip just getting to Sydney a little while ago was one of the biggest opposition moments in recent years, yet when we arrived, I was ready to battle. It draws the David out of you if you will let it. So, this is a word for you movers and shakers: Those of you whom God has positioned as pillars of this fresh new thing He is doing, this battle won't kill you or rob you in the end. It isn't breaking you—it's MAKING YOU!
I keep seeing the Lord seating you at His table in this season and anointing your head with oil in front of your enemies—THE ENEMY.
I see the word "legacy" over you, because what you may not know is that this call you have accepted is beyond the movement or step of faith you think it is. It's for the sake of legacy and extending the Kingdom in ways others have forfeited. And I see the Lord fighting for you today. There are angelic forces and armies around you that you don't even see, but God is covering and protecting you and reminding you today that He has anointed you for this, and you will be victorious. Watch God extend your borders in the process.
Look down for a moment, David, at the stones on your hands: insignificant... overlooked... but carrying something most won't see, but you do. Don't let those stones go right now, and go finish the job you were given. Shake off the lies today that you must have missed it, because you couldn't be more on track. Get back your worship. Shut out the noise and praise Him. Because this mountain in front of you? It's going to move in Jesus' name.
