The warrior is complete
This started out as a little talk with my Father, but as He so often does, He turned my hearts pain around to bless others through our talk. I was watching a movie about all the military people not able to get home to spend Christmas with their families. How much their families really miss them in ways you can never understand and how much the ones who are away, miss their families in ways you can never fathom or begin to understand unless you are one of them. The conversation quickly turned its focus on to me as God spoke. This really surprised me, because my surrendering everything to Him by putting Him first was the lesson I was learning for the past year or so, God's purpose was for me to focus everything on and through Him. This is where true freedom and fulfillment abides, not from what we want or need.
I too am that warrior who is away from my home as I serve my King and under his authority working out his plan. So As I understand this, there comes much loneliness, sadness, disruption and great fatigue. He shows me I will profit in all of this as I keep my focus on Him. That my peace and fulfillment of who I really am, is in Him and through Him no matter what is left behind or never to be returned to me.
