About Me:
I’m 67 and divorced with two grown children. I've been a Christian since being baptized in 1978. I'm a retired pharmacist. I'm originally from Ky and moved to Al to attend pharmacy school in 1987 at age 34. I spent 11 years as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist at Children’s Hospital of Alabama and 10 years as a retail pharmacist. I moved back to Ky in 2017 to help take care of my mother who is in bad health. My two married children, a son and daughter (who also has my two grandchildren; Everley age 7 and Maddox age 9). They all still live in Alabama. My daughter is a nurse and my son a Master Mechanic.
My Testimony
I graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Samford University, Birmingham, Al in 1978 and returned to Ky to help manage a family pharmacy. My father, a pharmacist was disappointed I didn’t get my pharmacy degree. In 1987 at age 34, he finally convinced me to go back to pharmacy school. I didn’t have very good grades in the sciences and I was applying very late. I was convinced I would never get accepted and I told my dad not to get his hopes up. I made the application and my wife and I prayed and told GOD that if it was His will He would have to get me in. I really pushed it aside in my mind and had absolutely no aspirations of ever getting in.
About 3 weeks later I get a phone call from the admissions office informing me I had been accepted. I was shocked to say the least! I still was unsure of it all without a science background, yet I just knew this truly was the hand of GOD and somehow I would make it through. So we sold our home and my wife, my 2 1/2 yo daughter and myself packed up and headed to Birmingham, Al for our new journey.
Not only did I graduate. I graduated with a 3.4 / 4.0 gpa. This was all GOD, because I didn’t have the knowledge on my on to succeed at this. This is my testimony of what GOD can do in a life of someone who believes on Him.
I pray the messages I bring of GOD’s Word will bless those who read them.
I also operate a Christian Facebook page that deals mainly with prophecy. It's in its 8th year on Facebook and anyone is welcome to join. There are over 7 years of messages posted on the site.
Glad to be here on this site. I hope I can be a blessing to those here. Pray for me and I will pray for you. May GOD get us through these troubled but soon to be glorious times.
