About Me:
A retired industrial chemist, health and safety advisor and auditor, who learned to write half-decent prose in industry. My “portfolio” contains some imaginative versions of Bible events, childhood memories of the 1940s and 1950s, sci-fi, and sundry bits of nonsense. Poetry is quite definitely not my forte.
I am a member of Harlow Writers. I have written maybe forty pieces a year, very slowly learning to do better. I have a few bits included in three of our anthologies. Other items have been published elsewhere, in a compilation about life in WW2, in “Essex History”, two or three in on-line “Paragraph Planet” and a couple in the Christian Writers’ magazine, “Areopagus”. I contribute Christian articles several times a week to Facebook.
I dabble with photography as a member of the Harlow Seniors’ Photographic Group. I am active in several volunteer church activities, such as Harlow Healing Rooms, and lead a small Christian congregation in Harlow.
