About Me:
The past ten years, I cared for my Dad who was ill. The Lord in His precious mercy took him on 4/26/19. So needless to say my world was turned upside down, I thought. But, the Lord is putting together all that I need to fulfill for my destiny.
I thought that I needed a job and every door closed. The Lord spoke to me to find a place to volunteer, which means no additional income that I thought I needed. I have moved to a total different part of Dallas, and I kept asking Him why I was here. He is beginning to show me and open doors for me. I tried several places to volunteer, and just knew that it wasn't where I was supposed to be.
I went to a new Dr. in this area, and as we were talking she said to me, "I know where you need to volunteer." I knew that I was about have a divine encounter. Her office is attached to a hospital, and they use volunteers.
Today, I had a meeting with the lady in charge of volunteers and she is the most precious Christian. I have a dream of starting a company and the name that the Lord gave me is "Caring Companions." So many older people , some that have never had children and others their families are busy with their own lives. They are lonely, feel abandoned and some physically unable to do anything about it. So, the vision that the Lord has given me is to have Christian ladies that would be willing to go to the homes of these people and read to them, play cards or dominoes, etc. The point being to make them feel loved and no longer lonely.
I am going to volunteer at the hospital with their older patients, and they will help me start the company. One of the interns volunteered to create a website for me.
Since my Dad went to heaven and I followed the Lord and stepped into the unknown, but it is the most exciting adventure that I have encountered with Him. Each day I am sooo excited to see what He is going to do. We have entered a season that we have never been it before, and I have never been so happy, excited, and anticipating Him at every moment.
