Beggars can't be choosers is not exactly Biblical, but the Bible does say to be content in every circumstance; so today I found a reason to be content. I went to the Food Pantry at the Catholic Multicultural Center and because of COVID-19 they have changed how they operate, we no longer have the choice to choose what we want, they just give all a box of food and that is what you get, even if it contains things you do not want you have to take it.
Beggars can't be choosers RECORDED in John Heywood's Dialogue of Proverbs of 1562, this phrase means that when you can't have exactly what you want, you should be satisfied with whatever you are given.
