For a few days, I have heard the words “dissension in the ranks.” This morning I asked the Lord – what does this mean for us as believers?
Dissension in the ranks can be described as a difference of opinion or discord. It is quarreling within people. It is also dissatisfaction with those in authority.
I hear the Lord calling us to focus. Dissension is not productive. Focus realigns our perspective. I felt the Lord saying that He desires our attention. We have been distracted by the things that are occurring in our country and the world. Some are paying more attention to the negative aspects of the situation rather than focusing on the one true authority.
God wants our attention! He wants our focus! I hear Him saying, “Stop the dissension!” Pray and focus! Turn to the one true authority and worship God!
