Growing up in church and raising my kids in church people would say no matter how sick you are, don’t miss church. Have faith - go & just get prayed for. Thanks to that religious spirit full of pressure, control, and manipulation, nearly everybody in the church soon had measles, mumps, chickenpox, or the latest flu bug.

Don’t be stupid. This COVID-19 coronavirus can be deadly. Stay home. Stay away from people as much as you can if you do have to go out.

God quarantined the Israelites when the spirit of death was sent forth in the Bible. He told him to put the blood of the lamb on their door post. That’s what Passover is all about. And that’s what this simple request is all about. Helping us to experience Passover so that we can live to see our kids and grandkids grow up and do all we’re called to do.

I encourage you to use this time to teach your family about Passover. Take communion in your home as a family. Anoint each other and the door post of your home as a prophetic act.

I’ll say it again. Don’t let a religious spirit kill you or others. If nothing else, realize that you have no right to endanger other peoples lives by being stupid. Quit faith shaming others. Stay home. Flatten the curve. Let’s work together to end this thing. The quicker everyone cooperates, the quicker this thing will be over.
