We finish the Book of Numbers this week with our double Parashat. A lot is covered this week Laws concerning vows, conquest of the Midianites, division of the plunder, the tribes that wish to stay on the east of the Jordan, remembering the journey, the division of the land, cities for Levites, cities of refuge and women who inherit property. I would like to focus on the laws for vows.
I feel where we are in time as a nation VOWS is what we need to focus on this week. If a young lady lives with her father and she makes a vow and her father does not agree with it he can CANCEL her VOW. When a woman gets married and she makes a VOW and her husband hears about it and he does not agree he can CANCEL her VOW. There is a layer of protection for her and her household. Now let us look at our nation. We have for the first time in history a man as President and a woman as Vice President. Almost 250 years of existence and now we have for the first time a woman in the White House not as the wife of the President but holding the Office of Vice President.
You maybe asking what does the Laws about Vows have to do with the President and Vice President? There is talk of removing President Joe Biden which would make Vice President Kamala Harris President. Look at the age difference between Biden and Harris. There is a 22 year difference in age. Biden is old enough to be her father. The office of President and Vice President is very similar to a marriage. They work together to take care of the household of America. If President Joe Biden is removed from office whether you look at him being a father or a husband the covering he has to cancel what Kamala does will be removed.
Our nation is at a pivotal time. As bad a Joe Biden has been Kamala Harris is worse. Do your research look at her record. She is pro abortion, anti gun, right for illegals, pro open borders and pro communism. With Biden removed this nation could be in great danger. Now don’t get me wrong I am pro women in roles of leadership. I serve in a ministry with women leaders. There are certain offices however I believe a man should be the leader only because of the protection his covering offers.
Now is the time where we as a nation have to pray like never before. We not only have to pray, but we also have to listen to Holy Spirit and do what He says even if we don’t like it. We cannot let our emotions get the best of us. We can’t let our family up bringing make our decisions for us. We have to be spirit led. Look at all the people in the Bible where God told people to do things they didn’t desire to do. Look at Jonah he didn’t desire to minister to his enemy. Hosea didn’t desire to marry a prostitute. Ezekiel was told not to mourn the death of his wife. Isaiah was told to preach naked. I am sure these men would have preferred not to go through these things. However they honored God and did His Will. The WORD says God is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever. If He asked these men to do strange things why would you say He won’t require the same from you?
