This week’s Parashat is titled Naso which means LIFT UP. God has been telling us that we must be Holy because He is Holy. Now we are given laws that tell us how to keep ourselves and the community Holy. We learn about the Nazirite and how he sets himself apart. We learn about the Levites and their duties. We end with the gifts given to each sect of Levites so they can do their work. These items are set apart and made Holy. We also learn about keeping the camp purified and clean. These are the laws I would like to focus on this week. Specifically Leviticus 5:11-31 here we have something that sounds like an occult practice.
If a man suspects his wife has been unfaithful he has the right to bring her before the Priest and have her judged. Her the woman has to submit and be judged by God as to wether she is guilty or innocent. What is weird is the ritual of a special drink she has to drink. It sounds like a witch’s potion. The Priest is to take Holy Water from the Tabernacle and mix the dust of the Tabernacle floor into the water. Then he has to have woman let her hair down. The Priest then has to put the husband’s offering (2 quarts of barley flour) into the woman’s hands. She is then placed before the Lord for judgement. The Priest will hold the jar of bitter water that beings a curse to the guilty. The Priest then puts her under oath. He tells her the consequences for her if she is guilty, but if she is innocent she will be blessed. If she is guilty she will have pain in her abdomen and it will swell and her womb will shrivel. She will no longer be able to have children. However if she is innocent no harm will come to her and she will have children if was not able to before.
The Priest will then write the curse with ink on a piece of leather, and wash the words off into the bitter water. The woman will then drink the water and everyone will know if she is guilty or innocent. This will cause her husband peace as he will know the truth and give him closure. This will cause the healing process of their relationship to begin.
Now this seems to be one of the strangest thing we read in the word of God. However there is a Doctor from Japan named Dr. Masaru Emoto who has been studying water for years. Dr. Emoto has taken water from around the world to study. He has taken the water and frozen a single drop of water and placed it under and high powered microscope that takes photos. He has taken dirty water prayed over it and showed the water before and after. He has taken water placed it into a container and written a word of the outside of the container. He wrote words like happiness, thank you, love, peace, joy, anger, demon just to name a few. Each image taken is completely different. I have attached a video that gives a brief explanation of Dr. Emoto’s work.
Dr. Emoto’s work shows that this law is not strange at all. This law pulls back the curtain into the supernatural and how it works. Now that being said, several years ago I went to 2 restaurants 2 days in a row they were in the same building. The 1st restaurant had devil in it’s name. The other restaurant had drink cups covered in occult symbols. The Lord allowed me to eat at both restaurants before He corrected me. He said son why would you eat at places who glorify the devil and his agenda. You can’t say your mine and frequent the Devil’s Cantina. Your either mine or his. This was eye opening. Now apply it to the drinks you buy. If a word can change the molecules of water what do you think a logo or brand can do. For example Monster, Red Bull, or Liquid Death. What are these brands doing to what we drink? It is at least food for thought. Ask the Lord what He would have you to do with this revelation.
