The intelligence apparatus of the state and the media apparatus of the marketplace have power to create a narrative and make you the enemy. What part of the seven mountains of culture is a Christian supposed to neglect? Education? Media? Government? Business? Arts and Entertainment? Your Family? Church? What does it mean to be “salt and light” in these circles? What does it mean to lose your impact and be “trodden under foot of men?”
Our preachers don’t have to undo the lies that appear as truths in this generation. And we don’t have to agitate the beliefs of unbelievers by speaking what GOD's Word plainly says. We could opt to trust unbelievers to do what is best for us… OR we can start to understand the danger of this moment. We need to stop worrying about offending the world or stirring the ire of Christian critics.”
