Whenever systems, corporations, leaders and regimes try to overplay the ‘integrity card’ and brag about it, they reveal more about their foundation of lies, corruption, deception and falsehood than anyone who blows the whistle on their crimes.
It reminds me of this Wes Fesler quote:
“Hypocrisy is the audacity to preach integrity from a den of corruption.”
